The short version
Camlora streams camera video directly from your Android phone to connected devices. It does not use a Camlora cloud video relay or require a Camlora account. The free Android app uses Google AdMob, and purchases use Google Play. Those services may process data separately from your camera stream.
Camera and microphone
Camera access is required for video; microphone access is optional for live audio. The app serves video, snapshots, audio and status to devices able to reach its local network address. Receiving apps may save or transmit what they receive under their own settings and policies. Stop streaming when you are finished.
Local network security
The stream uses HTTP, not end-to-end encryption. The optional password protects control endpoints and live audio. Video, snapshots and status are not password-protected. Use a trusted network, avoid guest or public Wi-Fi, and never expose the phone’s port through your router or a public tunnel. “Watch only” hides controls; it is not an access-control boundary.
Settings and saved files
The Android app stores camera preferences, a salted password verifier and a cached Pro entitlement on the device. The Windows client stores connection settings on your PC. Snapshots you choose to save remain wherever you save them. Removing local app data removes its settings, but does not delete files saved elsewhere or Google’s purchase records.
Deleting your data
Camlora holds no server-side copies of your information — there is no Camlora account and no Camlora server. Everything the apps keep is deletable by you, at any time: uninstalling the Android app removes its camera preferences, the saved password verifier and the cached Pro entitlement from the phone, and uninstalling the Windows companion removes its stored connection settings. To also delete the advertising identifier used by ads in the free version, reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android privacy settings. Ad data held by Google is managed under Google’s policies, and a purchase remains a record in your Google Play account, which Google controls. Advertising and consent
The free Android version can show Google AdMob banner ads. Google’s SDK may process identifiers, IP address, device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. These requests are separate from the local camera stream. Pro removes Camlora banner ads.
The release app requests consent information through Google’s User Messaging Platform and only requests ads when that platform permits it. Where required, Privacy choices in the app’s Settings lets you revisit the decision. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising data guidance.
Purchases
Google Play handles payment for the optional one-time Pro purchase. Camlora reads purchase entitlement to unlock Pro and may cache the confirmed state for offline use. Camlora does not receive your payment-card details. Restore purchase uses your Google Play account.
This website and support
This website includes no advertising or analytics scripts and sets no application cookies. Its hosting provider may keep normal access and security logs such as IP addresses, requested pages and timestamps. If you contact support, the information you send is used to address your request; do not send passwords or private footage.
